Macadamia nut oil
Made from the highest quality nuts from Australia’s sunshine state, Queensland, our Extra Virgin Macadamia Nut Oil is not only delicious, but packed with vitamins, nutrients and minerals.
Macadamias are indigenous to Australia and are much sought-after around the world for their surprising health benefits.
At 84%, our cold-pressed Extra Virgin Macadamia Nut Oil contains one of the highest levels of monounsaturated fats among all food oils, even higher than Olive Oil!
Monounsaturated fats actually help to lower the bad type of cholesterol (saturated fats), resulting in less chance of stroke or heart disease.
When it comes to taste, macadamia nut oil has a buttery, delicate quality, and with a smoke point 210°C, it’s perfect for high heat cooking.
Many of the nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants found in peanut oil are lost in the traditional extraction process, which is why we developed our cold-pressed method, which preserves all the natural goodness of raw, unroasted peanuts.
And there is a lot of natural goodness in there!
Peanuts have been shown to be one of the most cardio-protective whole foods available, as well as being packed with magnesium, antioxidants, Vitamin E and resveratrol, which helps lower blood pressure.
Our Extra Virgin Peanut Oil contains no trans fats, additives, preservatives or artificial ingredients, and is perfect for Asian and Middle Eastern cooking.
Sweet almond oil
The sweet flavour of almonds adds a delicious twist to desserts, salads and main dishes, so it’s no wonder it has become an essential ingredient in French and Italian baking.
Native to the Middle East, almond oil has been used for thousands of years in recipes, in both sweet and savoury dishes.
Like all nuts, almonds are packed with nutrients, particularly vitamin E, making them great for hair and skin.
Our Extra Virgin Sweet Almond Oil has a light, golden oil aesthetic with a sweet almond flavour, perfect for baking and desserts, as well as a base for dressings and marinades.
Native to all tropical regions, coconuts have been a staple food for many cultures for thousands of years, providing people with essential dietary fats, tasty flesh, water, milk, and of course coconut oil.
When melted, our Extra Virgin Coconut Oil gives off a beautiful, sensual aroma, bringing life to any recipe, and elevating average dishes into something special.
Used as a substitute for butter in many recipes, it has a high smoking point, and like butter, coconut oil is solid at room temperature, meaning it can be used for baking, frying, and oiling saucepans.
Coconut’s high lauric acid content makes it the main ingredient in many hand and face creams, lotions, and soaps.
Just like our extra virgin coconut oil, Olivado’s Natural Liquid Coconut Oil retains all the nutritional goodness from coconuts, yet captures it in a convenient liquid form.
Grown, extracted and refined without pesticides or additives, you can use it in baking, cooking, sautéing, or even pour straight into your smoothie.
And in a first of its kind, the bottle comes with a handy little pop-up nozzle to make life easier!
Go nuts with Olivado!
Nuts are packed with vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants, helping with everything from eyesight to bowel disease.
Of course, even with all those nutritional benefits, it wouldn’t be much if they didn’t taste nice! Luckily, our range of nut oils taste delicious, bringing added flavour to any recipe you want to add them to.
Usually, many of the vitamins and minerals in the nuts are lost during the extraction process, but with Olivado’s industry-changing cold-extraction process, we keep all the natural goodness contained with the nut, and make sure it ends up on your plate!
Any of our nut infused cooking oils will turn an average dish into 5 stars, perfect if you’re cooking for others and want to impress, or simply want to treat yourself to something different.
