This delicious Creamy Mushroom sauce recipe is perfect for a steak or even on it's own over some fresh bread! Take a look at the video here:
1 onion, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Avocado oil
Salt and pepper
Juice of 1 lemon
450g / 16oz portobello mushrooms
140g / 5oz sour cream
Fresh thyme for garnishing
Streaky bacon to serve

Finely chop the onion then add Avocado oil to a large frying pan and lightly saute the onion. If necessary peel and trim mushrooms then slice finely. Add mushrooms to the onion and sprinkle with seasonings and lemon juice. Cover the mushrooms and cook gently about 6 minutes. Lightly stir in sour cream. Adjust seasoning to taste. Cook the mushrooms for 2 minutes more. Serve garnished with sprigs of fresh thyme.
