Olivado’s Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is produced using our pioneering cold-pressed extraction technique which preserves the natural goodness of the coconut flesh without using heat or chemicals. The raw white pulp of the coconut is pressed under a certain temperature, while the oil is centrifugally separated and filtered, producing a silky smooth finish.
A fresh, smooth coconut taste and aroma – none of the oily aftertaste found in lesser oils.
Used for frying, baking, and sautéing, our Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is clear and pure as a when liquid and solidifies at temperatures below 15°C, resulting in a smooth pure white wax.
The active ingredients, around 60%, in coconut oil are lauric acid and caprylic acid, both medium-chain fatty acids, also found in breast milk; they are anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial, easily digested to boost the metabolism and help the body use fat.
