Olivado’s Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is produced using an advanced cold extraction process that preserves the natural goodness of the coconut flesh without heat or chemicals. The raw white flesh of the coconut is cold-pressed and the oil is centrifugally separated and filtered, producing a silky smooth oil.
A fresh creamy coconut taste and aroma – none of the oily aftertaste found in lesser oils.
Used for frying, baking, and sautéing, our Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is clear and pure as a when liquid and solidifies at temperatures below 15°C, resulting in a smooth pure white wax.
The active ingredients, around 60%, in coconut oil are lauric acid and caprylic acid, both medium-chain fatty acids, also found in breast milk; they are anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial, easily digested to boost the metabolism and help the body use fat.
