500g / 1.1lb beef mince
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Avocado Oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 cup beef stock
1 tsp dried mixed or Italian-style herbs
ΒΌ cup tomato paste
1 x 425g / 15oz jar pre-prepared pasta sauce [or make your own favourite tomato sauce]

1. Heat avocado oil in a heavy-based pan and add onion, stirring over a moderate heat for 1-2 minutes. Add mince, stirring constantly until well browned. Drain off excess liquid.

2. Stir in remaining ingredients, cover and simmer gently for 20-30 minutes, or until cooked through. Serve with your favourite spaghetti, bread and salad.
